ENGAGE 2019 Final Update!

I really don’t know where to begin! Let’s just praise the Lord for a moment. The Lord is so good to us at Grace Church! I thank the Lord for His gracious work among us. For the past three months we have been adding people to our church family, while at the same time we are seeing visitors join us regularly! You have a lot to do with that! It is obvious that the Spirit of the Lord is present! There is an overflowing joy and peace at Grace Church. It is evident in every service. Wednesday evenings are exciting, especially with new people being welcomed in many different areas, including our children and teens. After our Sunday morning and evening services, people are hanging around to make new friends and meet new people. What a blessing to me as your pastor seeing you chatting and fellowshipping with each other!!! It is refreshing seeing you reach out to our new people and begin to develop friendships within the church. The Kingdom of God is definitely enlarged when we reach out and connect with other believers. It certainly provides an atmosphere where God’s people can grow in their faith and deepen their walk with the Lord.

ENGAGE 2019 blessed us all! Pastor Tom’s messages, our Grace Church Choir, the special music and your congregational singing was great! Everything was well done! I mean everything… the childcare, the children’s mission classes, the sound, the safety team, the local outreach presentations; all highlighted our local and foreign missions ministry! The Lord provided the much needed funds to cover our expenses and to provide honorariums for our speakers. I know that I was touched and stirred once again for Faith Promise Missions.

This Sunday morning I will tie it all together and share some pictures from our missionaries and their families. I will also update you on some of the things that we are doing locally that you may not be aware of. I will share some information about our newest ministry AGAPE. There is a wonderful work happening right here in Greenville, and you should know about it!

Thank you for giving to Faith Promise Missions! Your faithful financial support keeps these ministries funded so that they can continue to reach people with Gospel. Our foreign missionaries also say “Thank You” for your support, as do our local outreaches here in Greenville. Thank you for giving! I have been praying about our missions giving. If you are not presently giving to missions, please pray about it and ask the Lord how much you should give. As we all do our part, we will continue to see the Lord’s blessings upon our church!!!

Jesus gave us the Great Commission! What an awesome calling is ours! As His witnesses, Jesus promised us the power of the Holy Spirit. What a grand journey is ours as we go out together in the name of Jesus spreading the “Good News” of the Gospel. Together is always better!

Jesus said in John 14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again,

and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

ENGAGE 2019 Update Edition

ENGAGE 2019 UPDATE EDITION… Matthew 9:36 (KJV) But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd. Matthew tells us that Jesus was broken over the lost condition of the multitudes. When Jesus saw them His heart was crushed. WHY? Jesus knew that unless they were saved they would perish without hope. Let these words sink in for a moment. I encourage you to do as Jesus did, take a look around; many of the people you see do not know Jesus. Yes, we are to send missionaries to the peoples of the world, but we are to be missionaries as well. ENGAGE 2019 is just what we need… a time to refocus our affections. Our eyes need to be opened anew; our hearts need to be reignited for souls. Join me in praying that this will happen this weekend at Grace Church!

“ENGAGE” MISSIONS CONFERENCE 2019 includes our children. Every session (Friday night, Saturday and Sunday morning) is family friendly and includes services for our children. This is intentional and purposeful! Take advantage of this opportunity to educate your children about what it means to be a missionary. Jesus said, “Make disciples of all nations.” At Grace Church we take seriously the teachings of Jesus Christ. ENGAGE 2019 provides you as a parent the opportunity to expose your children to local outreach missions and world missions. Our teens regularly serve with local ministries that we support here in Greenville. Your family is important to the Lord. This focus on missions will bless you and your family!

Take a minute to signup for the meals this weekend @ gracechurchnc.com. Thank you for being a part of ENGAGE 2019.
